Following our successful collaboration through the Greater Manchester T Level Health and Care Industry Placement Programme, it has been a pleasure to continue working with Sue on national projects that support organisations and systems to engage with T Level industry placements and build the evidence base for the qualification in health and care. Sue was integral to many of the programme’s achievements, from securing the commitment of new employers to support industry placements, to helping secure DfE funding for an industry placement coordinator for Greater Manchester through to 2028. Her work is exemplary. She brings clarity, focus and momentum to complex programmes, and has a particular skill for bringing together diverse groups of stakeholders to identify the core issues and move forward, even in a busy and often noisy landscape. Sue combines deep sector knowledge with a collaborative, practical approach, and her contribution to Gatsby’s research and wider work on T Levels in health and care has been incredibly valuable in achieving our aims.

Sue is a highly respected leader in transformation, change, innovation and impact. She can work equally well within an organisation or across a whole system or region and combines her knowledge and understanding of how change takes place, with how you measure it effectively and create impact. I have worked with Sue on a range of programmes including technical education, large scale recruitment, access and equalities and large scale strategic stakeholder management.
